CG

Hi guys
New to helis. Just received AXE CP about 3 weeks ago. IT is quite a challenge trying to learn to fly it. Crashes really well, eay to repair so far. Just installed new Wamart tail boom. Great idea and cheap. Also learned how to repair main blades, still using originals. Monocoat is off but painted blades for protection.
Main reason for writing is to ask if anyone knows where the CG is. Im trying to relocate battery pack since I dont like removing canopy everytime I want to fly. Also cant figure out why theres no swicth on the battery pack. Factory had no answer for that, only that one is not available. Please if anyone can help let me know.
Thanks

You' ll need to keep the battery pack forward of the motor to keep your Center of Gravity correct on the AXE. Moving the NiMH or Lipo battery behind the motor will DRASTICALLY throw off the balence of the AXE CP.
My AXE CP has a switch installed on it, installed in the left-rear frame (cage) area. I just used a small 120vac/15amp SPST switch installed between the ESC & Dean's plug connector (to the battery), on the common (Black) wire. So now I only remove the canopy to replace the Lipo pack.

I have an RC car, and I was just going to do something like a switch there too...it is something that in the RC Car arena, that is normal. In the small RC Heli world, not so much.
I am going to do just as Shadow instructed. There should be a good supply at the LHS in the car sections...
