Default Tail Motor Mount/Replacement or alternative??

Well I must say all in all the Axe cp is a well built flyer but the way the tail motor mount is made is complete weak rubbish imo.

If it was a solid assembly it wouldn't break but it has the holder for the tail mount all open and exposed which makes it very weak.
Is there a alternate tail motor mount that is usable with the axe from another heli or can any company make a cnc part for it?

I have bought about 7 of these some break just plugging together with the tail mount the flimsy thing snaps apart when fully pressed together, anyone else have this problem or am I just a brute with it?

The plastic tail motor mount may have been molded slightly under-sized at where the mount attaches to the aluminum splined stud mounted within the tail boom. A drop of CA glue should keep the mount in place if you split it during re-assembly. Alternatives would be the aluminum mount for the BCP, I've also seen a twin motor unit, some pics below, but I don't remember who sold them.

Is the BladeCP tail mount a direct replacement? I thought the tail boom diameter was different.

The one in the pic doesn't look like it is made for the BCP kinda looks like it would fix my axe. Any idea who sells it Shadow?

I don't think the blade Cp parts will fit the Axe cp?
Anyone actually tried these on the axe and had any luck?

As long as the tail boom the part is made to fit, fits a 8mm diameter boom, your good. If not a bushing could be made to fit the tail motor mount to the tail boom.
