Default Lubrication?

What do you guys use for lubricant? I dont know if its recomended but I LIGHTLY used 3 in 1 oil to lubricate a balls ,cups and gears and it made a noticable difference in the operation.

Tried the 3in1 oil, but I think it softened the plastic and eventually the links would fly off in flight. Now, I don't use lube on the ball links.

Probably should use some sort of silicone lubricant or graphite.

Never really had a problem with them softening the ball joints on my on road and off road cars, Unless the ball joints were worn to begin with. I think silicone and graphite would be a better choice even teflon lube would work good. Now that I think about it I did find some Teflon lube that I also used alot.

You can get PTFE or other dry or semi-dry lubricants at auto or bicycle stores. TriFlow is a popular example that works well.
