Default Fitting a non-standard battery

Much thanks to PlaneBuilder66 thanks for the info on the Common Sense RC Battery. One more multple question at this time. First, my local hobby shop sold me a Venom Power VEN-1574, which is 1250 mah, will using the charger that came with the AXE CPL work or will I need a new charger? The LHS owner says nothing to wory abour. Second is their anothre canopy that can be fitted so I don't have to cut a hole in the origional?

Is it a balanced battery with the same connector? If it is it will be fine. balance is balance. The only differance between the one the Axe comes with and upgraded charger is amps and volts with closer tolerancs.
