Hey guys im thinking about getting a helimax blackhawk with carbon blades and some other little hope ups and what not. THe guy i might be getting it from said he likes this over the blade 400 and some of the parts are interchangeable with the T-rex.... If any one know what parts are/are not? Also does any one own one of these? I hear they are pretty much a t-rex with a different name and some little things..... Whats the best place to get parts? Any one do 3D with one and what it needs to do 3D???? Thanks!

I'm not sure what helicopter you're talking about. I don't know of a Helimax Blackhawk. The Helimax helis I know of have been the Rotofly, Axe EZ, Axe CP, MX400 and MX450. The 400/450 do have some parts compatibility with the TRex. There's a pretty long and old MX450 discussion thread here on RCU.

Ohhh... I understand now. It's Helipro, I think, not Helimax. Try www.helipro-rc.com.

Black hawk is manufactured by heli pro, not helimax. nice looking bird tho

What have you decided? I had a 450 version, I still have the 500 pro se version which run on nitro. I just ordered a black hawk 500 ep with 2.4 rtf for 299 bucks.
