I am just starting out here but I was able to do some hovering with my new axe cpv3. I was doing fairly well when I broke the tail rotor blade, not a problem bought some ahead of time. After I replaced it went back to fly and noticed the battery was running low, no power. I put it on the charger and 2hr later it was ready. Set it up turned on rx and pluged it in. Light flashed then steady, I started to spin it up but just slowed like low battery. Unpluged the battery and started over. Now it won't even spin up all the servos seem to work fine though. Any thoughts on where i should be looking?
Thanks

Yes, I had the same problem. Be careful. Mine did that for maybe 2 charges then 3rd time charger started smoking and battery swelled up but I caught it in time as I thought the house was on fire. I smelled a bad electrical burn going on. Helimax is sending me a new charger when they get them in mid jan and the batteries it killed. It swelled a battery about 3weeks before so it was 2 batteries I lost. I went to the LHS and bought an e-flite charger with the balancer for 19 bux. It only has the 12dc aligator clips but the charger does have the 12 dc input for a wall charger. I used the stock helimax 12 wall charger 4 that. Great bang for the buc. I have been using a buddies battery till mine show up and its worth the 19 bux AND GIVES ME full charges. good luck oh and don't charge that thing in the house.

I had the exact same problem as you did.The battery only charged twice and on the third green ligth came on installed on heli and nothing. Took the entire kit back to the LHS and they gave me a new one off the shelf, no questions asked (maybe they know something) brought it home charged battery flew once which i noticed a way shorter time than the first kit had. Plugged in battery to stock charger/balancer and the charge light just blinks and it wont charge. Has anybody had this problem and do you know what happened, is my charger bad or is it my battery? Voltage a @ discharge lead is 9.6 volts. did i overdischarge? Hate to take it back to LHS cuz i have the heli all dialed in and adjusted. Sent email to Hobbico about problem. I sure hope they answer me back.
Thanks for any help.
