this is my 2nd axecpv3 after so many flights the eboard burns out. the electronics in the axe are cheap and 80.00 for a new eboard is a rip why cant they just put good electronics in the heli i would pay extra. not a bad flying heli the electronics suck.

I have had mine for about 9 months and not a single problem! Are they just frying after a flight or after a crash? If it is a crash are you killing the throttle as soon as possible? If the throttle is still on and the rotors aren't allowed to run you are going to keep cooking these things.

how often do you fly your heli? i fly mine sometimes every other day.all im saying is the cpv3 is a nice flying heli but i think the electronics are junk.84.00$ is alot of money for a new e board when you can get a new heli for 149.like i said im gonna stick with my blade 400.maybe down the road i can pick up a cheap e board for the axe.

The CPV3 is junk, there are a few lucky ones out there that somehow manage to get one that actually does work right, but I think the 400 is a much better machine...........

I fly my heli 4-5 times a week. I don't doubt the parts are cheap, seems to be the case with everything these days. I must be one of the lucky ones as niteliter says. Never a problem with this bird until I tried installing the gyro and now I am doing what I can to get it back to the way it was before I tore into it.
At this point I would suggest you sell the cpv3 and get a trex or something a little bigger. I have 2 trex 450's along with my cpv3 and it is a world of difference.
Good Luck!
