fighting the tail

anyone else with this problem. Since it is an electric heli... I am wondering if this is normal. I get the heli all trimmed out, when hovering I have even gotten the tail to stay straight. But after a couple of minutes, when the battery drains, you have to start fighting the tail to keep it straight...
does this happen if I upgrade the stock battery, or is this what we can expect since its an electric...

RE: fighting the tait

Is this going to replace the gyro that comes with the Axe?
Will this make the problem go away? and how much are these things..
and can I still use the original radio?

thanks

RE: fighting the tait

I am in the process of installing one now and will post back as soon as i know .. about 150 bucks so far but i have bought parts that i do not need and will return. I am not going to cut any wires on the Heli or any of the the other hardware so i bought different types of Dean connectors and just going to cut them up and make what i need. The wires that come with the ESC are long and can reach into the back of the Heli so we dont have to attach the ESC to the Main area. also the tail rotor wire will run into the back of the heli.. keep ya posted

Trim it the best you can. When you get better at flying, you'll be able to adjust the trim while in flight to compensate. You will still have to learn to "fly the tail" either way.
