Default Hirobo Shuttle Plus feathering spindle

Hi I am new here so hello everyone.

I recently crashed my shuttle and had to rebuild both the rotor head and tail. Everything has gone well except for attaching the rotor grips to the feathering spindle. I seem to have about a 5mm gap between one grip and the yolk on the feathering spindle which causes an excessive amount of play on the horizontal plane on the one blade. My first attempt saw me tighten up the nuts so hard on both ends of the spindle to try and eliminate the play that spindle snapped on the thread. I have now bought another spindle (part no# 0402-545) but still have the same amount of play. I have checked that I have all of the bearings/dampers/spacers/washers installed in both the grips and the yolk so not sure why the one grip is not tightening up flush with the yolk, the spindle just seems to be a few mm too long ??.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

I managed to solve the issue, was me being stupid, I forgot to put in the spacers part no# 2521-103. Got them in now and there is no play :-)
