I've seen a picture on an older website about a conversion to the 3 armed 120 degree swash plate CCPM type system. Does such a conversion still exist? The author raved about how much more flight precision he achieved with the upgrade. I am interested in building up my Shuttle plus kit in this configuration if possible.
Wanted to contact this individual but his website didnt link to any contact info.

There is a conversion kit 0402660 that is made for the Plus 2 as the Plus 2 has a swashplate that works for both Standard mix and CCPM controls.
The 0402660 has all the control levers, hardware and bearings, mounts and linkages to convert really any Shuttle to CCPM control. If you do not have the Plus 2, then you will need a swashplate. The 0402650 is the one that comes with the Plus 2 and is the most economical.
The 0402660 would be $ 69.00 and the swashplate if you need it is $ 29.00.
We are out of the 0402660 at the moment but could have some more in here shortly. You will probably not find it in stock at a hobby shop and would probably need to be special ordered or ordered direct.
If you have any other questions, just ask.

Hey Jeff,
Your a fantastic resource for info!
I found out what the conversion was that the guy used. It was made by a Japanese company called Correct. I'll have to research if they still exist. Very nice looking conversion.

He has photos of the conversion listed under Older helicopters on his website.
I think the Shuttle Plus 2 CCPM kit that you refer to would most likely work for me. I just want this new shuttle to be all that it can be.........so to speak.
I'll keep my old ZX in stock form and just enjoy it for what it is. Its already taught me more than I could have ever imagined in such a short time.

I suppose my idea for a CCPM Shuttle will have to be filed under the heading of " delusions of grandure" . I kept pecking away at the box full of parts and ended up with a flyable Shuttle Plus with an OS. 37 for power. Used the Standard swash but up graded everything to ball bearings! With all MS Composite blades shes a solid flyer. Guess I'll leave the CCPM to the modern birds and shoot for it on my next 50 size Sceadu.

Everything I'm running is JR brand so I probably shouldn't say much here. I would imagine there is a setting on your radio for the standard swash plate system. I'd head for the instruction maunal before anything else at this point.
