That looks much better!
The Sirius chargers are great! I used to have one myself, though a higher capacity version. You can goto a higher capacity NiMH pack and the Sirius charger you have will charge it, just not as fast as there higher capacity chargers, just set it for the 1000mah selection and plug it in on your breaks from flying.
Either way, still load check it before and between flights to insure you have enough capacity to fly, even if you upgrade to a high capacity battery. This will make you confident that there isn't a problem before you go up and you'll start to get a feel for how much power your electronics pull during a typical flight.

one more thing... when you're all set and ready, make sure you post some pics and video if possible of this classic heli and yourself!
its nice to see a 23 year old heli design still doing its thing!

Not to worry jster, the RC world passed me by and didnt even have any children during that time! I have caught up about 1/4 of the way but I still like to build airplanes and have no ARF's at this point. I think if I see another day with 8 Tower Kaos ARF's in the same color scheme in the air at the same time I'm going to become ill. I miss the "good ole days" when variety was the spice of life!
Happy Hovers!
Tony
PS. sorry about the huge size of the pictures. RC universe has an upload mind of its own when it comes to pictures!

Touche Tony!!!
It's nice to know I am not the only "old school" guy in town. I love variety as well. I can't wait to get going again and have the guys say, "what is that?".
I will have it totally up to speed by spring. I will post as I go.
Thanks again and take care......jster

Congrats, glad to hear that you got it fixed. Now we just need some decent weather to fly in. I like flying this old school bird, it attracts a lot of attention and is definitely not mainstream. I just hope that Hirobo will keep putting out parts to keep our antiques flying.
