HP-20 Servo Programer
Good Day Folks..
Forgive me but I tried the direct email service and more or less got the "Price is Right" response.. " Send it on Down..:-)"
I made the silly/stupid mistake of pluging the charger into the servo port on the unit and strangely enogh it doesn't work quick the same. I have't tried to program anyting with it since. While it will perform the simple "Auto Test" on the regular servos (Example HS 5475" It now won't work on a JR digital (Sorry did I say that out loud..:-) The servo just hunts and the programer seems to be looping through the start up sequence. (HP-20 shows up on the screen then it tries to work an goes back to the "HP-20 on the screen, all the while the servo doesn't know what to do so it hunts for a place to go.. Prior to the inadvertant voltage application it would do the sweeping test and such with all the servos I use.
Sorry for the short story long.. I would just like to know if it is worth the time and effort to send it in for repair or is it beyond ecconomical repair? If I am the first to do this there must be a prize or maybe a hat I get to wear.. :-)
Thank you in advance for your time..Douglas AKA Riverdancer.
