Any one have an idea why my trims on ele, ail and rud are all backwards. I did a reset, and they continue to work the wrong way. It is an older 7 with the new 2.4 module in it. Any help would be appreciated.

"<span style="font-size: smaller;">my trims on ele, ail and rud are all backwards."
</span>By this you mean that the trims are working in reverse direction to that of the sticks?
i.e. when holding rudder say half way to the left, then moving the rudder trim button to the left,
the rudder starts back toward the centre in lieu of continuing to move to the left?
1. Does this happen on all models?
- Try resetting another model number and without entering any mixes, check the four trims are correct or stil reversed.
Easier if Rx, servo(s) and battery are on the bench for tests such as centering with the attached jig:
Hitec Eclipse 7 will turn Hitec &JR servo clockwise when CH 1 &Ch4 sticks & trims are moved to the right and
CH 2 & 3 sticks& trims moved upwards.<span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span>(Futaba servo and clones thereof will turn anti clockwise).
2. If same still happens all models, then you most likely have a burnt out IC and the Eclipse 7 must be sent in for service
as depending on the severity of the damage the main board may need to be replaced instead of just replacing the IC's. <span class="info"> </span>
3. Has an unregulated Lipo been used in that transmitter?

Thanks Alan. I will try that tonight and report back here. Strangest problem I have ever encountered on a tx. I ended up binding the rx to an Optic 6 2.4 so I can fly today.
