RE: Future Hitec servos?
We will debut a new line of digital, coreless, Karbonite geared servos at the Toledo show next month. That's all the info I can give at this point.

Ahhhh, that is exactly what I was gonna ask Steven. I hope these can keep from getting sloppy much longer. Something that can compete with the 8611 would rock!

RE: Future Hitec servos?
I asked the same question about 2 months ago. I have been holding out on the 8611's to see if hitec can bring something competitive to the plate. I need some elevator servos for my 42% Aerotech Edge and would really like to stay with hitec. Come'on Mike, since you are now in charge of R&D this is what we want!!!!!!!

Say Mike:
Can you tell Mr. Hitec that we'd like some new coreless motor digital servos. Please make them with as much torque and speed as the JR 8611, and programmable.

Yeah yeah[8D], so where are they at? They are releasing the new line next month correct? I think Mike stated that in an EZone interview last week.

We should have all the info on the new products shown at the Toledo show up on our website in the next day or so.
For those who couldn't make it, here is what it looked like.

Well, 3 new servos, they look to replace the Hitec 5925 and 5945 servos, but still nothing to compete with the JR 8611. The new Karbonite coreless servos though look like they will take over the old hitec servos

Seems like the 6985 is getting close to the 8411. I would like to get one or 2 of these and well, STRESS test! haha! Them. If they don't develope the slop and can stand up to lots flying then they will come home to papa!
"Part of the new KARBONITE digital servo series, the HS-6985HB is the strongest KARBONITE digital servo available. With its 172oz/inches of torque this servo is great for large aircraft with demanding applications."
