Default Crashed RX, twitching servos

Hey, i crashed my Tiger Trainer this spring, and am in the process of moving my Focus 4 stuff into a Four-Star. At first, the RX didnt work at all, so i bought a new Crystal, which got the servos to work. Now my problem is that when i move the RX around, the servos go haywire. Sometimes they just twitch, and sometimes they go full tilt. I'm sure this isnt a flyable condition, so i am wondering what i should do with it. I would be happy to send it in to you guys for a fix, but the radio is 4 years old, and i'm sure any sort of coverage is up (Not to mention i crashed it!!). Someone up in the Radio forum said it might be the Crystal filter? If a new RX would cost me 50$, would it be worth it to send it in? Hope you can help, thanks,
Dan

Edit: I just popped it open, and there is something rattling inside what looks to be a grey box with a serial # on the top. [:@]

Things arent lookin good here

It's always worth it to send it in. It sounds like the ceramic filter is broken.

Mike.
