Default EVO Setting Problem or Product defect ??

Mike,

I bough the RoyalEvo (HFM-S, software 1.26, serial#1173880) from Tower on June.

Problem 1.
The four major stick's and two proportional switch movement (physical)
has almost 8% "DEAD ZONE" each on both end.

Such as the throttle has 28 click from top to bottom(1=top, 28= bottom),
servo move 100% from click 3~26 in the servo monitor & physical servo .
There is no further servo movement on click 1,2 , same on click 27,28.
All proportional control ,4 major stick + E & F
switch have same situation.

Problem 2.
Berg 5 receiver with JR DS8301 will has glitch when I use the Sync module.
I borrowed an fixed channel HFM-4 and the problem disappear.

Is it setting, version or physical problem??
Should I mail it back to Hitec???
I am very trouble on these problems, appreciate your response and advise.

I had a similar problem

it can be resolved with a little adjustment of the tension screws

Mine felt like there was a little more motion after the signal stopped changing.

after I adjusted the tensions a bit it got nice clear end points.
