Multiplex servos by Hitec ?
Hi, quick question :
Are Multiplex servos now made by Hitec or still made in a different factory in Germany ? Is Hitec just the distributor in the U.S ?
Thanks

RE: Multiplex servos by Hitec ?
Some of the newer MPX servos have been influenced by Hitec. These would include the Nano, Tiny, Mini, Titan, and Polo. All others are still made by MPX in Germany.
Hitec USA is also Multiplex USA and we are involved in the same fashion with Multiplex Germany as we are Hitec Korea. We are more than just a distributor.
Mike.

RE: Multiplex servos by Hitec ?
Mike,
I have some MPX titan servos. Since they are made by Hitec, does that mean they can be programmed on the Hitec servo tester/programmer? The MPX programmer certainly doesn't work on them... I need to reverse one servo for elevator Y set-up on my Yak54S.
Regards
Jason.

RE: Multiplex servos by Hitec ?
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the info. Before you replied I tried to reverse a Titan Digi 4 on a friends programmer but as you say it doesn't work.
I have however managed to reverse the servo by doing the motor and pot trick. Had to buy a new servo case though because the motors are glued into the case. Also had to insulate the centre pin of the pot and extend the two outer pins to swap them over. All works well though and saves having to buy new servos and a programmer just for a split elevator on a Y lead.
Cheers
Jason.
