Default Optic 6 & 2 elev servos

I'd like to know if the Optic 6 will work with 2 elevator
servos in two different channels so they can be
matched. Thanks

Larry

Yes, the Optic has a pre-defined mix for dual elevator servos with trims linked.

Just picked up an Optic 6 for a P-51 with retracts and flaps, 2 ailrons, rudder, throttle, elevator. Thats 7 servos. World Models Instructions say 6-channel Radio. What's up? I don't see any way to Program ACGL to handle 7 servos. (I see 7 channel icons in the manual but can't see them on my DISPLAY..PROBABLY A MISPRINT??). I'm using a Supreme 8 Rx. Thanks from someone just jumping in the sport.

Flaps and ailerons are two channels, known as Flaperons. A six channel radio will work.

Counting channels, rather than servos, 2 ailerons, 1 rudder, 1 throttle and 1 elevator is 5 channels. Flaps go on the 6th channel. You Y cable the flaps if you want to use two servos.

On a 6 channel radio, you have two choices.

both ailerons on on 1 channel leaving a channel for retracts.

Or

Wire your retract servo to your flaps and put on a switch that takes flaps to a preset position. Flaps down, retracts down. Flaps up, retracts up. Then you can have ailerons on two channels.

Can't think of any other way to handle it.

Hope that helps.
