Optic 6 Update Offer
Optic 6 Update Available
Hitec is now offering an update to the Optic 6 that corrects a minor programming bug in the throttle subtrim. This problem only occurs when the aileron differential and a throttle subtrim of -60% or greater is used. As soon as the subtrim of -61% is reached, programming lock-out occurs and the user must switch off the Optic. When turned back on, all previous settings are lost in the model being worked on.
It is not required that you send your radio in for the update. A work around is to mechanically adjust the throttle linkage so a large amount of subtrim is not required.
If you find it necessary to use this feature, send your radio to our service department to have it updated.
This update is only available to Hitec USA customers which purchased and use their Optic in North and South America.
