Hi,
I thought I read somewhere that you can update v.1.03 servos to v.1.04 using the HFP-10 programmer. Is this true?
Also, what is the turn-around time to get a programmer flashed to 1.04?
Thanks

Software for revision v1.03 and v1.04 servos is one and the same. The v1.04 designation denotes the latest digital amplifier equipped servo. The v1.04 revision servos MUST be programmed with an updated HFP-10 Programmer.
All previous revision servos (pre v1.04) realize NO benefit, added or program enhancements between v1.03 and v1.04 updated Programmers. If you don't have v1.04 servos there is no need and or benefit to update the Programmer if you already a revision v1.03 Programmer update.
Programmer updates generally take 1-2 weeks work load specific.

So there is no software difference between 1.03 and 1.04? only hardware? and you can't program a 1.04 sevo with a 1.03 programmer?
Does this also mean there are no compatibility issues when using 1.03 and 1.04 on the same channel(split elavators)?
Thanks

It's tough to say for sure but I suspect you'll have a problem with Futaba PCM unless the servo is updated or new stock.

Michael,

All I fly is Futaba PCM's , how can I tell if the servo's have been updated or New stock? (I have both I think) and what type of issues are encountered?
thanks, Ward
