I came in to a Hitec Prism 7X and I was wondering if there is a tutorial or if some one has experience with this radio they can share/train me (yeah I'm new). I know it's a discontinued model by Hitec but 7 channels is just what the Dr. prescribed, I can program my 2 trainers and my second plane thats on the board (haven't flown any yet ) Can I get a better battery and if yes which one and where?, I charge this one all night and turn the thing on and will only last about 30 minutes before hitting the 9.2v and the alarm goes off

Any help is welcomed

PS - Can this radio do all the mixing and other cools stuff the new radios do? What are my limitations with this radio besides only storing 3 models?

The battery is the same that we use in the current radios so they are readily available through most retailers or mail order.

The radio is very capable and only lacks some of the latest programming of todays radios. It's hard to convey all the answers you are looking for over the forum... if you need more answers I would give us a call.
