Default eclipse 7 with Aerofly sim problem

Hello Mike

I have the aerofly professional sim, that I'm trying to use with my Hitech Eclipse 7 radio. I can't get the sim to calibrate the radio settings. Areofly say that I have to put the radio in PPM and not PCM mode. Can that be done with the Eclipse - and HOW??

(any solutions in simple language please - I'm a R/C idiot!

Thanks,

Steve

The Eclipse is PPM... I don't have any experience with that sim so I don't know.... Anyone else have any advise?

Mike.

Default Thanks Mike

Thanks for the e-mail and the posting Mike. I am a bit nearer to solving the problem, having switched off all mixers in the radio (I think).

I must say, some of the Eclipse 7 manual leaves me a bit confused. I had to telephone Cali (from Ireland) to speak to a very helpful guy at Hitech (was it you, Mike), who told me that to get into the heli menu, I had to press the edit button after switching on the radio. The manual doesn't seem to give this important information, and only mentions pressing edit buttons as you switch on, to get into model set up. I spent a really long time trying to find the heli menu, to no avail.

If someone can just tell me what functions I assign to the controls on the radio, I will be be fine and the sim should fly. Mike, you said, set it up like a Futaba - if only I knew what that meant

Best wishes,

Steve P.
