Default flash 5 expo & dule rates

Hi Mike ! when I set my expo say to -25 on the available channels . and then also setup my duel rates to say 60% . When I switch on the duel rates is my expo still in effect also ? Or is expo only active when in high rates ? this is the Hitec flash 5 Im useing. I know on my 9CAP I can set it to be active in differant amounts in high or low rates . Expo is one of them functions thats hard to visualy see on the bench to deturming its action LOL.. My thoughts are expo is turned off when you turn on your duel rate switch. thanks for your info Ron

The Expo is only active when the switch is up. Unfortunatly this is typically where you would set your rates to be reduced. What I do is set the expo to -25% and the D/R to 125% that way I get a 25% increase in travel with -25% expo.

Mike when you say only active when the switch is up to clarify that are you saying it is only active in the High Rate position?

The expo is only active when the switch is in the up position. When it is in the down position you have no expo and 100% travel. With the switch in the up position you can select the amount of expo and dual rate. I suggested 125% D/R and -25% expo.
