I just purchased a brand new programmer(tester) from chiefaircraft. I Have 8 brand new 5645 hitec servos that I need to program for alierons. I attempted to program the first servo and it would give me different outcomes. First I would not beable to access the certian change on the programmer. Example: If I wanted to change the direction(reverse) somtimes it would say fail and other times it would let me program what I wanted. This also happens with the reset to factory specs mode. I would beable to reset the servo and other times it would say fail. I attempted this several times with different servos and it would always be the same outcome.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong or do I have a bad programmer?
Once agian the programmer and the servos are brand new.
Thank you,
Ken

We have had several reports of late of similar problems with specific servos or so it seems. I’ve made some inquiries with Hitec Service to determine if there is a pattern. But it seems the HFP-10 Programmer is suspect as other have solved their problems with through Hitec Service. I’d suggest contacting Service directly for information on returning the Programmer for a warranty service.
See the post at the top if this forum regarding Service and how to contact Hitec USA.
