Dear Mr Multiplex,
I have an Evo 9 with version 1.4 software on it. I have a cable and data-manager (that's how I got version 1.4 software). Recently I thought that I would back up my programs and plugged in the cable to my PC and the radio. When I turned on the radio the screen did not come on. Since it was so long since I had done this I was unsure of it. I went into the device manager and tried a couple of other baud rates with the same result. Then I refreshed mymemory and read the manual again and learned that the screen does not come on. The only problem is that now the screen does come on and the data manager does not find the radio. I have tried rebooting and resetting the port to "default" but the radio screen still comes on and Data Manager still does not find it.
Any ideas of what the problem might be??
I am not really too concerned.......until Multiplex release a new software version.
Second question.......will there be an update of the 1.4 software......one that will allow exp. to be programed for different rates/modes?
That would be great.
Thanks for your assistance.
Pierre

I've not heard of this problem, but it would seem that you would need to send it in to Multiplex to have it checked out.
Sorry, I've also heard no info on an update for the EVO software.
Mike.

Thanks Mike,
I bit too far to send it from here. Once you take the freight and insurance into account it is very expensive. I may try on another computer first. As I said.....not too worried about backup......just don't want to miss out on the next update.
Thanks again.
