Crystal failure in flight
Mike,
Just lost a plane. Everything was going fine, then I had nothing. After examining the radio gear, the only thing I can find wrong is that the crystal is dead. Not too uncommon after a crash I know, but I've had them hit much harder without damaging the crystal. I am using a Hitec 555 receiver and HS-55 servos with a Com Pro speed controller. This was a small electric plane obviously and I'm just trying to figure out what happened. I was making a turn to land and the plane just went dead.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
