Default Rx Difference?

Hi
I was wondering what the difference between the hitec Supreme IIS and the hitec HFD-08RD. Also, is the HFD-08RD a typo or is it different from the HFD-08RO? Thanks in advance.

ORIGINAL: robbinspat Hi, I was wondering what the difference between the hitec Supreme IIS and the hitec HFD-08RD. Also, is the HFD-08RD a typo or is it different from the HFD-08RO? Thanks in advance. pat
HFD-08RD is the previous Hitec Supreme Dual Conversion 8 Ch Receiver.
HFD-08RO is the current Hitec Supreme full range, Dual conversion 8 Ch Receiver. Smaller in size & lighter in weight than HFD-08RD with the additional features of Auto gain and Auto Shift Select:
- 8 Channel Aircraft Receiver
- Dual Conversion / Ultra Narrow Band
- Auto Gain Control
- Channel Output and Crystal type : Vertical Type, use only Hitec Dual Conversion Crystal..
- Low Voltage Operation
Installation:
1. Always turn on the transmitter before turning on the power to the receiver.
[TX On First - TX Off Last.]
2. Always perform a range check prior to the first flight of the day. Check the operation status at least 22.5 m (75 feet) away from the receiver with the transmitter antenna fully collapsed.
Changing the Crystal.
The Hitec Supreme receivers are "center tuned"and will accept any Hitec Dual conversion crystal (within same band) without re-tuning.- other brand crystals are not compatible = Refer sub section "crystals" on my web page)
[*Auto shift Selection - for 72 MHz. Just by turning "OFF" and "ON", you can easily synchronise the Shift type. (Keep the TX power ON during Auto Shift Selection) ]
Size : 51 X 32 X 20mm Weight :28g (0.99 oz)
