Aurora 7CH RX Antenna Configuration
[8D]I just received the Aurora and am installing a 7ch rx in one of my aircraft.
Does the rx antenna have to be installed straight out from the rx or can it be
curved? I have curved my 7ch rx antenna about 90 degrees to ensure that it
remains as far from battery packs within the fuselage, as possible.
Thanks.

RE: Aurora 7CH RX Antenna Configuration
I just installed my Optima u in one of my beater airplanes and turned the antenna 180 deg cause that was the easiest way to go. I placed the rx on top of the battery and strapped it all together. It worked great !!! I also checked with Hitec and they advised that there is no problem in the standard wood or foam aircraft. You must be careful with the Carbon Fibre models because the CF can block the signals.
