Eclipse 7 question

Hi, I have an Eclipse 7 and need some help. I'm wiring a P51 with flaps and retracts. Do I have the channel line up correct?

1. right aileron
2. rudder
3. engine
4. elevator
5. retracts
6. left aileron
7. flaps

My second question is can I control the flaps with either the channel 7 switch or the flight mode switch vs. the VR 2 knob? What I'm wanting to do is have it set on the 3 position switch to have them set at full up, 15% down and full down? Is this possible with the Eclipse? If not then what about with the Optic 6?

You have your channel 2 and your channel 4 reversed. If you use a p-mix (1 or 2) you can have the flap control from the VR2 knob activated with the channel 7 switch. The Optic uses a slider for flaps instead of a knob like on the Eclipse. The slider is located on the side of the transmitter.

RE: Eclipse 7 question

But what I want is to control the flaps with the land 3 position switch? Is that possible?

Please note the flaps are control by a single servo.

RE: Eclipse 7 question

No, it is not possible. Only the VR2 or the channel 7 switch will control it.
