Eclipse challenge
Hello,
i have figured out how to P mix my rudders with the nose gear, but when i want to use them for speed brakes ( both rudder servos movng in the opposite direction ), they both still move in the same direction. Help? Thank You |
RE: Eclipse challenge
Please provide the programming steps you've utilized to effect the rudder mixes.
Off the top of my head I'd suggest you have to change the travel percentages ( + or - ) when the speed brake is deployed. |
RE: Eclipse challenge
Channel 4 right rudder
Channel 6 nosewheel Channel 7 left rudder P mix # Master slave 1 4 6 2 4 7 3 5 4 4 5 7 as i said earlier, i do get rudders and nosewheel proper. when i wish to use the rudders for speed brakes, i would like the rudder servos to move opposite to each other. again, Thank You for your assistance. |
RE: Eclipse challenge
I'll play with your set-up and see if I can figure it out... Give me a little time to get some gear on the bench and mock it all up.

Mike--
I can't ask for more than this. Thank You for your time and efforts. I am looking forward to seeing your results. randy |
RE: Eclipse challenge
I was able to get it to work, se below for my set-up. You may require different values, but it proves it works.
pmix #4 L/U = 0% R/U = +30% pmix #3 L/U = 0% R/U = -30% To increase the travel speed brake/rudder, increase the percentages on both pmixes equally. |
