Optic 6 Spectra Module Problems
 

I have had my Optic 6 with Spectra Module for a couple of years (right around two) and now I am experiencing the issue I have read about in the forums.

I will turn on the radio, switch on the plane and...nothing. It is on the correct channel so it was driving me crazy.

I removed the Spectra module, slightly bent down the wires exiting the back of the transmitter and then replaced the module. Viola I then had contact with the plane.

This has repeated twice now and now I cannot trust this radio to fly my planes.

Luckily I have an Exclipse 7 I can use but it doesn't have enough memory spots for all of my planes.

Can this be fixed? What is causing this issue? It doesn't seem safe at all.

Just a note to Thank Hitec for such a quick turn-around. The radio was fixed (replaced) and sent back within a week.
