Getting back into Savages

Now that HPI is releasing a gas motor, I want to convert this as soon as I can:

Has anyone heard if they will release a conversion kit yet?

They haven't even given a release date for the truck, yet... Images of the gas Savage have been floating around the web for about 4-5 months.
