Default Help please with Savage tank lid spring !

Hello

I took the tank lid and spring apart on my Savage......and now when I`m tring to put it back together I can`t work out which way around the spring goes !! ... I know its going to be tough to put on and it needs to be forced a bit...but I can`t work out which way it goes or how it should work ! I`ve looked all around and tried to zoom in on every pic of a Savage I can find...but no luck !

Can someone take a close up pic of the tank lid and spring and post it ?, so I can work out how to put this bugger back on [&o]...I`d say it would be pretty hard to explain without a pic !

Thanks in advance

TM
