Default xtm 24.7 vs s-25 motor

is the s-25 for the savage better than the xtm 24.7 motor

The .25 motor domonates... its a good choice for a savage..... BUT the TRUCKZILLA converson is better... but still the .25 is am awsome one to go with.

I would have to agree with visaracer, the xtm is a better powerplant than the s25. The s25 is not a bad engine by any means, and if that is what you have I would keep it until it dies, then get the xtm. I cannot however agree entirely with Pyrobob, the truckzilla is a good kit, but, and its a big but, there are very few people with the truckzilla that would recomend it over a Picco 26 or a Wasp or a Sirio 27, simply because that .46 lump tears stuff up including itself, and it hasn't got the top end you would probably expect, in fact the s25 is faster.

Just my 2p
