I just put a Savage SS together and found the stock shocks to leak. They leak about half way up the shock body, at the point where you take them out of the plastic frame work. Yes I was very carful about removing them. I would like some aluminum shocks, but don't know which ones to buy. Please give me your opinnion on shocks and which ones. I noticed Hot Bodies has 2 different ones. Is there any other brands out there.

Get some new stock shocks, they are one of the best shock sets available for the Savage. HPI are bringing out some new ally shocks, and they will probably be the best ally shocks available.

Most aftermarket ally shocks are too weak for the Savage, the shafts bend easily.
