I am thinking about buying my first real rc very soon. I am wanting to buy either a stadium truck or a monster truck. I have never bought a rc before (besides when I was little had one from the local toy store you know nothing serious) What do you guys recomend for a good first timer ready to run car/truck. I want something that is good for tearing around the yard, is made for big jumps, and can handle the abuse of taking it to the sand dunes here in michigan. Should I get 2wd or 4wd is there really that big of a advantage with 4wd? or is 2wd fine? Should i go nitro or elec? I was kind of thinking to go nitro. I have looked at the traxxas trucks and they seem cool but they seem kind of pricey for a first timers truck. Are they worh the money or is their something better for less? What is better for the type of driving that i described a monter truck or a stadium? I don't really plan on being a serious racer or anything.... any help would be greatly appreciated to a newbie.
Thanks

you want a monster truck. the stadium truck wont do as good with all that as a monster truck. you also want to have 4WD. 4wd is alot better than 2wd you can get stuck on stuff with 2wd and its alot harder to get stuck with 4wd. you also may not want to get the t-maxx because its not really a durable truck. you should consider the monster GT or the hpi savage 25. the savage is a faster truck than the GT.

i wouldnt recommend a stadium truck - i had a rc10gt for my fisrt nitro rc and every time i took it out for a thrashing it broke i was at my lhs every weekend buy parts for it so i sold it and bought a savage and i love it the only thing thats broke in 3 gallons is a pullstarter.
