BB those tires look awesome w/that body.I see what your saying about the window tint bleeding through, but i think it looks crazy. At first i thought that was some kind of technique you did there, and then remembered what you said.It almost looks marbleized(sp?).

The red delivary style van would look better if those wheels didn't have so much offset. I dont like the look of the carriers being exposed so much but thats just me.

I will not be running those wheels. I have several sets of those tires, they are off of an EK4 (Thunder Tiger) and are very hard to find. I agree, that wild off set is really odd looking on a Savage. Bud

Ahh ok. The smartech magic wheel tread is very similar to those, I'm not sure how hard the EK4 tires are but compared to the T-maxx chevrons the Smartech tires are very soft, good bashing tires.

The Modded Picco is the only engine I have run that body on and I have the opposing problem with it. It runs too cold... it is hard to get ot over 200. That engine is exactly the opposite of what I thought it would be. Anyway, I think enough air flows through the open front end and the bodies are really wide around the chassis inside. It clears the fuel tank by over an inch and the buggy style exhause by over a half inch. BB

Oh yeah, it is definitely sealed. On idle the temperatures just dive. I will not run it too lean on the top side and I hate that death cackle on the low side. I have not heard this engine do that except when the tank is about empty, kind of a nice porblem to have for a change. [8D] That Orange Diigger body sure looks cool standing up in a wheelie, I should get some video of it.[8D]

Wow. That is the exact opposite of what I thought would happen too. I'd be interested to see what would happen if you cut the body open.[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

So pumped, made an order on A-main yesterday for dynamite platinum shoes, vented flywheel, new springs, and a vented cb. Can't wait to see how these new shoes change my trucks performance. I have been running the garbage stock shoes on my 25 since day one and even when I transitioned to the mach 427. They were even going bad then so there should really be a noticeable difference coming

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
Newest pics from me, the first few are from running around in my backyard for 2 tanks in damp grass until one of my rear wheels stripped out. My STS was running beautifully, after not being used for almost 2 months, I fired it up and it was absolutely screaming and tearing up all my grass. So I lost the hex on one tire, and the rear diff kept unloading on that stripped wheel so I was basically left with FWD. Boy did I balloon out my front tires, I ripped up even more grass and ran the truck until it couldnt go any farther with the stripped wheel wobbling so much.
Next pics and the vid are from going to Floyd Bennet Field in my area, where I gave a years worth of burnouts to my local on road track, and the oil soaked asphalt was so slick that I couldnt run second gear since my truck spun out on 75% of the shifts. There is almost no WOT footage in the vid, and that would be pointless anyway under those conditions. The truck came out of that run WAAAY cleaner than after the drive in my backyard lol, and my steering servo took a crap too. Overall, it was tons of fun and I hope you enjoy the vid/pics, thanks to my bro for getting all that great footage on one of the most crappy still digi cams still in use in 2008.
I was running it nice and rich on the LSN, I adjusted my 2 speed but it still shifted early, and my carb only opens 90% of the way max, so no top speed for me[&o], till I get an Ofna throttle linkage
Enjoy!
Tom.

rcnitrohead, awesome pics man, you weren't kidding about those tires ballooning like that! And thnderbird, almost the exact setup I'm gonna be running, 1mm springs, except 47/16 gearing, still should rip though [>:]
