No way to treat a Savage!
Hi Everyone,
I'm currently carrying my Savage around in an 18x25" cardboard box (ugly) and would like
something that looks a little better and is more organized.
I can't seem to find a plastic container that's large enough (18" width).
What do you use to carry/store your Savage? Please upload pics if possible.
I guess I'll build something if I have to but I really want to keep the weight down
since the truck/tools/gas really add up.
Thanks a lot!
Signa

Better than a stick over your shoulder with a handkerchief cradling your Savage. I don't put mine in anything. I just grab it by one of the bumpers.

UWS truck box.
It just barely fits too, but it's the easiest way to bring it to the track, hobby shop, etc... without having it roll around in the bed of the truck. Plus there's space for a few gallons of fuel, the radio, batteries, charger, an LST and some tools. If I were to carry it around though, I'd just go the duffle bag route. It's hard holding the truck, radio, glow starter and spin-start at the same time. Plus the weak bumpers of the LST means I can't hold it with a single hand without the bumper bending which I don't like.
