RE: Aluminum Parts
this is a bit of a contentious subject.
there are, as ever, 2 camps on this.
one side willl say, Yeah get Aluminium parts, they are fantastic and loads tougher than stock..
the other side will say, Alu is expensive, heavier than plastic and that it bends.
I dont know about it bending, but it is definately heavier than plastic. IF you do Save up and get all ally parts, you will also have to save up to get a new motor as well-
I still dont have any Alu parts on my truck, my logic being simply that I dont upgrade it unless it breaks......

RE: Aluminum Parts
the only alloy part i wanna get is the center skid plate, like has already been said, they are heavy and very expensive so i wouldnt deck out all of my truck(although they do look very nice)

No don't bother with the ali parts unless it's a shelf queen? spend it on other hop up's first and then when you have done all there is get ali bits, But try and get them all together in my opinion half plastic and half ali looks cheap. But thats me! ( no not cheap just in case!! LOL)

RE: Aluminum Parts
aluminum is not meant to bash with. that is fact. There are however a handfull of parts that need to be converted to alluminum to make the truck stronger eg) Diff case. The right combo of aluminum and plastic make for superior trucks.
