i dunno how it stripped. i sometimes notice that my glow plug is a little loose, so i tighten it and what do ya know, it doesnt tighten-because i stripped it!! cheap material. that was one of the reasons that i upgraded my savage engine kinda quickly.

Yea, this is my first nitro and I was torqueing the glow plug down waaaaaaay to hard earlier on. Once i knew w.t.f. I was doing, I took it much easier... I just tightened it a lil bit hard yesterday and it started slipping [sm=frown.gif]

The real ***** is that I couldn't get to a hobby shop today. AND THEY"RE ALL CLOSED ON SUNDAY
except for hobbytown usa... which may or may not have what I'm looking for

hahaha, thats why i change the oil, brakes, and god knows what else. You can never really tighten any of those too much. Still, The underhead (overhead?) seems like its made of some disgracefully soft metal compared to the engine block or even the glow plugs themselves.

Well, they're open on Sunday, but the owner of that particular HobbyTown is not a fan of the Savage soooooooo..... They don't have specific parts for it!!!!! But 10-8 isn't bad at all. most HS's I've been to are 9/10 AM till 5/6 PM. And they're almost all closed Sunday & Mondays. Go figure

but my hobbytown people are like GENIUSES when it comes to savages. they carry almost every part imaginable.
the weird thing is is i dont think any of them even have a savage.[&:] but they know their shiz! the only thing that sucks is they wont return a brand new revo, right fumunda? fumunda bought a revo, crashed a revo, broke a revo all in 4 days. CARTWHEELS! i did probably 50 cartwheels the other day and nothing broke. i even had a jump land smack on the front bumper and got nothing! lol SAVAGES RULE!!!

The Warranty doesn't cover owner-inflicted damage... It did not strip out on it's own. NO warranty from any company would cover that - - OPERATOR ERROR!!!

Nothing into the engine, but I definitely had the clues if I had known what i was seeing. fine metal grit was showing up around the glow plug when i took it out & on the area of the cooling head around the glow plug. I always sprayed it out with Nitro Cleaner because I didn't want crawling into my engine and killing it.

But i managed to temporarily put my savage out of commission anyways[>:]

Well, a flywheel can look like that if it has removable pins, and a small diameter.
