Savage .25 gear problem
I took my savage out today but I had to do a lot of tuning since it just so I would get it running so it was very rich and just put it up against a wall to let it heat up. I did this with both my rc10gt and rs4, but when I tried to start the savage after it stalled the engine made a different sound when I would use the rotostart and now when I turn the wheels forword the spur gear does not moves , but it does move when I turn the wheels backward. I'm guessing I stripped a gear or something, so I just want some advice on what you think it could so I know what to look for when I rip it apart (which compared to any other rc is pain).
thanks

Spur gear didn't strip?...[sm=surprised.gif] weird!
Well.... first I'd take the tranny apart and inspect all gears , bearings (check on that 1 way bearing)...
Let us know..... and take pics if u can.
Good luck...[sm=thumbup.gif]

RE: Savage .25 gear problem
well I ripped apart the tranny last night and now I think that it might be a one way bearing because I checked all the gears and the look like they are in perfect condition. I'm thinking of just bringing it to lhs so I don't screw anything up.
