I started my savage .25 a few times over the winter with no problems. I recently gave it a shot after about 1 1/2 months of inaction. The gas turned colors, so I changed it. I also replaced the glow plug. I can't get it started. Is it possible some of the bad gas is still in the motor? I've been hitting it with the roto start for over an hour now. What else do I have to do?

if you left fuel in it for that long, your gonna have to take the fuel tank and the engine off of the truck and flush the tank and tear down the engine and remove all the gunk that has accumilated
and get a new glow plug,
Jason.

new battery in the glow starter. i just went out and bought a rechargable one. i highly recommend it. and stale fuel and double check your car settings. it could also be flooded. take off the glow plug and turn the trucj upside down and then roto it for about 5 seconds. no more than that at one time

I cannot believe people leave fuel in their tank even over night much less longer or do not use after run oil of some kind. O well what ever floats your boat.

I have to agree with you on that one.
I run truck untill empty and if my son
and I are done running savage for the day
I also blow out the tank and all fuel lines with
my compresser. I don't like going past
3000 miles before changing the oil
in my real car. I have a few times and it drives
me nuts untill I change it.
