RE: Has anybody done the TWINZILLA?
I bought the truckzilla sports conversion but decided against the twin engines. It seems to me it is hard enough to get one engine running sweet how the hell could you hear the difference with 2 engines going. Sounds like a real problem to me.
Lets say you put 2 Novarossi 28 engines in the savage I would think the diffs would not be able to take the power never mind the transmission or the drive shafts.
I would just stick with the 1 engine m8ty

RE: Has anybody done the TWINZILLA?
I have just completed the twinzilla with the two .26 and I also have the truckzilla .46 that was a waste of money for the first motor on the truckzilla but now have a new .46 and that one runs but put a different head on it . The only thing that I have noticed about hotbodies stuff is you really need to take your time on sealing the motor because they are prone to have air leaks that create lean conditions. Customer service at hotbodies is very little or no help at all if you don't live in california I've waited on the phone for them on my truckzilla for over 20-40 mins for an anwser on something or they just aren't that good on responding . If you want to see pics I can send them to you and also give you advice on how to build one or both of these and what to buy and not what to buy on my own exp. I also have different articles from mags. that go into better detail on these.

I saw a vid not long ago of a twin engine Savage, it should have been called, "How to start a Savage" because quite a bit of it was him trying to get both engines going. It did not seem like there was any more speed, I guess most of it would be in power.

I would opt to put in one Thunder Tiger .70 and one single steel gear. Bet you all it will be faster stronget andlk last longet than any 3 speed regardless of mods. And this dood i know who has one has tons of fun since 90% of the time the car is being enjoyed instead of being repaired from damaged boxes and spur gears.

Sav46Vet- If you want to see that vid of the twin engine Savage go to Savage-Central.com and look in the forum. The thread is called Moldy-Marvin's project twin I think.
