Steering Servo (preferrably metal gear and 120+ oz of torque)
Throttle Servo (metal gear, but with a quicker transit speed for better throttle response)
5 cell NiMH hump pack and charger
Paint and supplies for body
Removable thread locker
Medium CA glue (for tires)
Glow plug wrench, glow ignitor, fuel bottle (if you don't have them already)
Other things you should get and install during the build:
Silicone Shock Fluid (25 or 30 wt) instead of the stock 10 wt oil
Proline Ultra Firm Tire foams (or equivalent) instead of the stock foams, which break down quickly.
Stainless steel screw kit w/ metric hex heads (if you can afford it)
Did I miss anything?

The shocks come in kit form to, so you will need to build them. The Kit does include some shock oil in it, it is just what oil you want to use in them.
Hope this helps you.

yes get a failsafe and always have extra transmitter batteries too....and make sure your hump pack is charged mine ran a way down a hill( a street) and almost caused an accident it was doing prolly 55 then hit a curb and flipped upside down and sat their balloning the tires for 5 seconds or so it was kinda scary... but ulike any other truck ive seen it didnt break anything! +1 to the savage

RE: savvy 4.6
yea get a failsafe. I had just bought my rc10gt and I was test driving it up my drive way, and i have a pretty busy road by my house, my car just took off and I lost any kind of control whatso ever and it ran right out into the street and a car cliped its from right tired bounced up next to the side of the truck and it landed on it wheels, but I still didnt have any kind of control and took off full speed towards me, so I stuck my shoe out there to stop it and I then turned it off. When it got hit is just knocked the exhaust off and that was it. Very strong little car. Sorry about this off topic post but as you can see you might want to invest in a failsafe. JMO

Don't bother with a one-way. If you don't try to start your truck while it's flooded, you won't have a problem.
Here's a shopping list that i copied from another post:
In an effort to be helpful, i've taken the suggestions, added my own, and ranked them in order of importance (imo) and added my comments.
Hitec HS-925MG Servo (for throttle and brake)
Hitec HS-645MG Servo (steering Futaba S3305 is a good choice too)
blue thread lock (a must for all metal-metal screws)
after run oil (Cheap insurance)
air filter oil (also a must, you'll want to clean and re-oil your filter after every run or two)
6v hump (Best improvement to any Nitro vehicle. Need a charger too)
[link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXL303&P=ML]switch with charging jack[/link]
[link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXE963&P=ML]External charge receptacle[/link] (these are so you can charge the rx batt without getting into the radio box)
aluminum clutch (4.6 is almost too powerful for the stock clutch. You might not see a problem, but with aluminum, you won't)
Fuel filter (cheap insurance)
Silicone shock oil (the stuff that comes in the kit isn't that great) get some good stuff with a weight somewhere between 15 and 35. I'm using 15 in mine.
[link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD574&P=ML]Deluxe car wrench[/link] or something similar
extra plastic 49 tooth spur gears (good idea, 1 or 2)
Spare glow plug or two
13 or 12 tooth clutch bell. (might be a little small, will be a wheelie machine with one of these, i'd suggest a 15t)
Failsafe
temp gun (handy for break in, and tuning, but don't rely on it to tune)
Shock socks to keep your shocks clean
spare set of wheels and tires if you want to go on pavement. Pavement will chew up the stock tires in a tank or two
