Yep, waterproofing is your key for this. Plastic dip, balloon, or tape the servos and batt pack. It is not only good for the winter but the mud and sloppy stuff too

A little elaboration on that:
wrap your cooling head in aluminum foil or a sock to help it get up to the proper temperature so the p/s doesn't wear out prematurely, and don't lean the mixtures to get the temp up - this will make the the problem worse, a temp gun would help make sure that the motor is up to temp if you have one,

dont be surprised if your engine bogs at full throtle, just richen the mixture and you're good to go
