Default replacing the steering servo

i just bought a hitec 645mg to replace the weak stock servo....i now have a series of problems
#1 on the original HPI servo there is a round wheel thing that attaches to the spline on the servo, then to the steering linkage...well with the new 645mg the splines dont match....how do i hook it up?
#2 the servo turns the wheels the wrong way.....i need the servo to pull the linkage to make a right turn and push to make a left....if i turn the servo around i dont think ill have enough room for the linkage to hook up

if anyone can help me out that would be great!!!!!!
