Default Savage 4.6 builts and run in, now 1 question.

Right, ran in perfect (appart from the rotostart hand thing that had a dodgy switch and killed itself) and now im tuning it. Im not a noob, ive had alot of cars. Now, the questions is: ive put a 3 speed in it when i built it and its run in, but its shifting immediatally, im going to increase the shift time. Now, its not wheeling, would this be because the gearbox shifts to 3rd before the car gets to pull the front up in 1st? has anyone else found this with the 3 speed in a 4.6ss??? cheers guys

sorry about the photo, ill put a few better ones up later, but i had to take it with my camera phone, and im out of daylight here in the uk. its infact midnight blue with silver hot rod stripes

The 4.6 comes with a 47T spur, the real early versions came with a 47T and a 49T.

The stock 4.6 spur is a 47T

The problem that i had with mine was that it shifted to 2nd instantly. Had to pull it out and turn the screw in 1/2 a turn from the factory setting. when thats done and you can hear the 1st - 2nd change you can then sort third out.
Hope this helps
