Default Ofna Throttle Mod

Where can I get the parts needed for this mod in EUROPE?

I emailed a company in the US and they want $26 for shipping on $16.50 worth of parts.

I am located in the Netherlands, but any place that is a part of the EU will work.

Thanks in advance

Savage545 - the problem with buying from the states is that they will rake me over the coals on shipping.

JayC1968 - thanks for the part numbers. Unfortunately, the 3 shops I went to don't carry any OFNA parts and I wasn't able to find any using my current online stores.

I still need a place in EUROPE to order the parts from.

Longhair, Do a search for throttle mods and check out the pictures of how people made the modifications. Then go to your local RC Store. Find the plane section and look for DUBCO servo parts. You will be able to find the parts you need. For springs you can use the springs out of retractable pens.

I have done the Ofna mod on one of my trucks and done the mod from parts from DUBCO on an other. They both work well. I do like the scrounged parts Mod the best. Let me know if you need more info and I will get it for you.

Cheers

US Post have a flat rate global priority small envelope that is $5 worldwide. (insurance extra) Its size is 250mm x 150mm. I dont see why you should have a problem as these parts will fit inside no worries. (maximum weight 4 lbs)

http://ircalc.usps.gov/intl_speed.as...nds=0&Ounces=1

email Ryan at [email protected] and tell you are having troubles, give him the part no.s you require and he should be able to sort you out if he can. Tell him azzman sent you.

Cheers.

BTW, this is a great mod. I just recently installed it on my savage and now I have to watch how hard I brake because the truck will flip over if I I brake too hard.

I do not know any other language other than english so I'm not sure BUT try here [link=http://www.meritracing.nl/]Merit Racing[/link]

Or you can use Traxxas #5168 2.5 Linkage kit and you will have to buy 1 slider too.. I know you have to be able to get that!! lol
The traxxas one looks like [link=http://members.cox.net/sfgascott2/savage/link3.jpg]THIS[/link]
I actually like the traxxas linkage setup better..

Come to think of it, just print the pic of the traxxas setup out and take to your LHS and tell them I need to do that....

Okay so I bought the throttle linkage kit and did not get instructions on how to install. Can someone explain how I'm supposed to hook this bad boy up. The kit # I got is 10721, and do I need the other kit as well for the Linkage sliders kit? Just another trip to the LHS which is cool. If no one has instructions can someone blow some pictures of theirs? I think I can figure it out that way.

2 Cool thanks in advance!

The Ofna mod looks pretty but there are lots of parts that will give you the same results.
Here are pictures of the mod I made using parts I had on hand. All the parts used are usually used for airplanes and can be bought at any LHS. I believe most are Dubro parts but don't remember for sure.

In reality it makes your throttle and brake response that much better....im sure u have experienced the brake fade. so this will allow for TONNS of adjustments to get rid of it...and also just for more precise throttle/brake. And it looks cool taboot..

Just for the record, they're either HoBoa or Hong Nor parts. Ofna just relabels them as theirs for sales here

all the part numbers should interchange
