Default engine help

is this engine good for a hevy savage and is it better then the stock on?
is the crank case made with cast?
i can get brand new one for 190 or less canadian is it a good deal?

TTR Pro-28BX-R




first hand experiance would be nice also.


ps savage will be bashed hard.

The guy accross the road from me has that engine in his Savage and it seems fast. Pretty nice powerband and the engine is a dream to tune.

If the clutch and slipper are set correctly it will wheelie on command. I'd say go for it.

Yes, but probably not the K 4.6.
I would imagine so.
