HPI sent me the Aluminum Purple anodized Hot bodies shocks a few weeks ago. I put limiter on them and some ultra light wieght oil and was only a couple seconds a lap off my Revo. They worked really well. You use fuel tubing and washers on the top mounts and HPI part number 1 of sheet 85049 for the bottom mounts.

Pretty sweet race set up, less stiction in aluminum shocks. I haven't had any bending issues like they say about the Integy shocks either. Here's a shot of mine with the hot bodies installed with the limiters.

I had a set of the Hot Bodies shocks on my savage. They look nice and all, but if you bash they will be the first thing to brake. I broke 2 off a small jump that i have. To me the stock ones are better.

well it all depends on how you were bashing like were you landing flat or were you landing like all on the sides and the nose and tail. LMK also do you have any vids of id like to see your savy in action it looks pretty cool!

My Hot Bodies outfitted Savy has taken numerous bad landings and done so many cartwheels it's dizzy and I haven't so much as bent a shock shaft. What exactly do you mean by "broke two off"?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, isn't HotBodies owned by HPI?
So wouldn't most of their products fit?

Sorry no video's yet. I bent a shaft on one, broke 4 bottom parts that go on the lower arms.

I'd have to say a plastic set would suffer the same fate...

hot bodies skocks are good: (these are the normal threaded ones)
pros: alluminium,shock bladders that actually work,they don't leak,very smooth
cons:I hate the springs(personal opinion),they only use one o-ring to seal at the bottom but can be fixed, super long shafts, the single hole design on the pistons.
